AZALEA

#AZALEA 😍 Azalea, officially Rhododendron japonicum and also known as Azalea japonica or Azalea mollis, is a deciduous azalea, of which almost all varieties are hardy in the Netherlands. The cheerful, flamboyant flowers of Azalea bring a touch of the Far East to your garden or on your terrace. They bloom generously and gracefully as a bush. The romantic flowers are white, pink, red or purple-red and the flower shape can also vary, from large and small to double and single. There are deciduous species that prefer to be in the shade, the evergreen species can be recognized by smaller green leaves and can also be in full sun. The depicted azalea has been in our garden for 10 years.
