setting sound in movies

I think that sound in movies is crucial to setting and giving an excellent atmosphere to the plot, in fact it is important to choose a music background suitable for the viewer to have a better experience. Personally I am quite a fan of Marvel and I liked most of his films, but “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.1” captivated me with its magnificent soundtrack, the atmosphere it created with its characters and how it transported us back to the time of its songs (watch out I'm not from the 60s & 80s times) but I appreciate and love old songs, from fact I love to see the photos of that time because I feel that they transport me there. 'Guardians of the Galaxy' ('Guardians of the Galaxy', James Gunn, 2014) is not only a big box office hit (yet another one by Marvel), it is also one of the most rated titles in the year it was released. Part of this protagonist role is music, and more specifically the selection of popular songs included in the “Awesome Vol. 1", one of the songs most liked by the character played by Chris Pratt (Star Lord)

The songs that are part of the 'Guardians of the Galaxy' Soundtrack composed of 12 songs from the 1960s and 70s (such as 'Hooked on a Feeling' by Blue Swede or 'I Want You Back' by Jackson Five.

I know that perhaps for many these are hits from the past that somehow connect us to an era we don't live in, or remind those who lived in these times good things, this makes the film meaningful and becomes a key aspect of the film itself.
