baking halloween
I saw this recipe last year, although I can't find anywhere else the link... In the existing recipe, this was made with a filling of apple. I chose a filling of red pie filling myself, to give it a scarier touch;)
Step 1: Search the Internet for a picture of a scary pumpkin. And print it out (not too big, it should fit on a slice of puff pastry).
Step 2: Stick this on a piece of cardboard (for firmness).
Step 3: Cut the face out of the cardboard. Cut out the face.
Step 4: Lay out a slice of puff pastry. Put your mold on it. Cut out the mold using the mold. (for each pumpkin you need two slices of puff pastry, 1 for the bottom, 1 for the top of your pumpkin, 1 packet of puff pastry is enough for 5 pumpkins). For the top, cut out both the shape and face. For the bottom only the shape.
