Balto - the realistic wolf plush
A few months ago I downloaded the wolf pattern from FreakHound studios to make a realistic wolf plush. With 224 pieces to sew together (in long faux fur fabrics) this was going to be my biggest and most difficult plush project I had ever taken on.
After 55 hours of sewing and asking many questions to the pattern maker (there were alot of challenges) I made it!
Balto was born, a life size wolf plush with weighted feet and tail, realistic looks and and very high 'cuddle' factor.
I chose the name Balto because it was my favorite animated movie as a kid and I spend years looking for the DVD 20 years after its original release.
There are definitely things I will do different with the next plushies (yes, I will make more - but those will be foxes!) but for a first run, I'm pretty happy with how he looks.
Mooi gemaakt.
