The Barranquilla Carnival is more alive than ever, it will be the Carnival of Hope that will pay tribute to life .
Declared by UNESCO as a 'Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity', it was postponed until March 2022 due to the covid-19 pandemic, which with the omicron variant experiences a fourth peak of infections in Colombia.
This year is considered very special because it marks the 80th anniversary of the People's Reign, which for this edition brings together 29 representatives from the different neighborhoods of the city, as well as more than 800 folklore groups that will be participating, during this time
