Basic income

Basic income is a periodic and freely disposable amount for every citizen that is sufficient to live fully, without obligation and regardless of income, wealth or household composition.
For each individual: every person, regardless of age, gender, origin, place of residence, is entitled to a basic income. It is paid per person, and therefore not on a family or household basis.
No income and wealth test.
No duty of consideration.
High enough: the amount must be high enough to allow a dignified standard of living that matches the social and cultural standards.
Down with poverty, less stress and depression, better school performance, less inequality, better health and less crime: Rutger Bregman explains why basic income is the answer to the biggest challenges of our time.
Why are we still working?
Do you like your work? Or, if possible, would you prefer to spend part of your time differently? Many are likely to answer the second question with a yes. Although we all go to work happily, the intrinsic value of the things we do there is often unclear Nevertheless, we do not question the necessity of that work.
