Today as I, looking barely presentable, got my package handed down to me by a smiling delivery guy, it struck me... How hard of a job it must be to be delivering packages, ringing doorbells hoping that people are home or that they open within 30 seconds. As I was running, nearly stumbling my way down to the corridor to open the door I thought of this poem.

Oh, delivery drivers, you brave souls

Who face the world with your endless rolls,

Of packages and parcels, so neatly tied,

At school, we had a boy who always bragged about how people opened the door almost naked, it was something he was proud of.
Hahaha, it is hoped that those people who open barefoot have or have some money on hand to give that delivery person a tip. 😄
It's true, sometimes the doors open almost naked, and they don't know who he is, I liked the poem, congratulations, thank you

It's just crazy that they have to work on time because of their boss to deliver the packages. Fortunately for me, and the delivery person, it hasn't happened yet that I've had to open the door naked. Does that poor mailman have a trauma right away 😂
Fortunately, the parcel deliverers never come to us early in the morning, but I always have to run to get to the door on time for them.
Nice ode to our delivery staff! Although I often curse that I still can't fly, I'm just so happy with them.!
Nice poem. I received a package late today. It had apparently ended up in the wrong sorting, but that it was repaired in time.
what a nice poem you made for our packages of deliverers. Believe right away that they will experience and see a lot.
In my case, I always send my children when I ask for something, and since I'm not always at home, that's why they receive it.
Nice poem! And perhaps often a nice sight for the mailman!
Often, they are underpaid false self-employed workers without legal protection in order to deliver our packages as cheaply as possible or even free of charge.
From experience I have often had to go out like this hehe but I always try to do my best to receive packages or shipments. The poem is fine hehe.
Hahaha a good poem, because I think I've heard a lot of anecdotes about delivery people and people who come out naked to greet or attend to them.
We should be happy with our delivery staff indeed, nice poem! Sometimes I open in a bathrobe and never really thought about how many bathrobes the delivery person sees per day. Let alone naked!😁 Because I live in a rural area, packages are also placed in our backyard under the porch.
