Bazooka Bubble Gum was first marketed just after World War II in 1947 by the American company The Topps Company of Brooklyn in New York. From 1953, comic strips appeared in the bubble gum packs. The main character in the comics was Bazooka Joe. There were 75 different comic stories. Bazooka gum was sold in many countries and the comics were translated into the languages of those countries. The Bazooka gum was rectangular and pink in color. You could blow huge bubbles with it. Can you remember the gum and strips?
