Is it impossible for you to dye your hair with your trusted hairdresser because of the quarantine?

Well, here I have some tips to be able to do it yourself at home.

The first step we must follow is to do an allergy test after having chosen our favorite color and a brand of dye that we have not tried before, start by testing the formula in a single strand in the nape area. This way you will rule out an allergic reaction and you can also see how it will look.

I have always heard from my stylists that the best way to dye hair is dry and without washing it for 1 day in between, in this way the dye will add better to the hair.

Prepare well the place where you are going to dye, choose old clothes, use gloves, use a container where to put the dye and hydrogen peroxide.

Once you have chosen the color, you should take into account that it is advisable to look for a lighter color according to the dye chart.

Respect the time that the manufacturer says. If it's 30 minutes, don't go over the time, that could change the color result.

Once the dye has been applied to all your hair (the area you wanted to dye) you should wash your hair with plenty of water, then with shampoo, conditioner and more water. If necessary, repeat the process until the water in your hair runs clear.

Drain it well with the towel and apply a mask from medium to ends, spreading it well with a barbed comb. This will make it smoother and more manageable.

Keep calm, sometimes the color does not remain in the moment if not in the days.

If you are going to try this at home, keep in mind that you must wear gloves if you do not want everything to be stained with dye.
