#yoorsheld2020

As you may have learned, Marc de Hond died of cancer this year. His own mother died of the disease, when his brother and he were 1 and 3 years old. It was bizarre that his own children were exactly the same age when he died himself! Although his mother did leave things behind, such as pictures and a cassette tape, Marc and his brother missed moving images at a later age. They couldn't form a complete picture of their mother.

Two (half) brothers of Marc created Stichting Komma. They want to give families with an untreated parent and children of primary school age the chance to leave a Memory Box with a video portrait and greeting cards for special moments. Personally, I think this is a beautiful and important initiative. If you feel that and want to support a charity, please visit:

https://www.stichtingkomma.nl

For parents, the Memory Box is completely free. The untreated parent will be interviewed extensively. In addition, greeting cards can be left for important moments, such as a wedding or the birth of a child.

Since the Komma Foundation runs entirely on donations, every Euro is welcome. One of my Christmas wishes is that many Dutch people support this charity.

Maybe a little less gift and a donation with it? Thank you in advance for your support! 🙏❤️
