LilyBeeWrap is a company set up by a New Zealand couple and has already sold more than 10 thousand sheets of their environmentally friendly packaging. After a lot of trying, they developed a reusable packaging of cotton, beeswax, tree resinand coconut oil. You can pack all kinds of food to take away or store in the refrigerator. It is also very easy to use to cover a bowl, because the warmth of your hands makes it beautiful to shape.
In soapy water (not too hot) you can clean the sheets again so that they can be used many times. And if they are really 'out' they will not pollute the environment for years, because they are completely compostable. What you better not use them for is raw meat. Because you can not wash them with hot water. Also, you should not put them on a bowl in the microwave, because then the wax melts and that comes into your food.

I myself have enjoyed my Boc'n'roll for years. I saved these together with stamps on Tivall's packaging. They are made of cotton and polyester and easy to clean in soapy water or in the washing machine. I always take 2 sandwiches in it to work. I can use it as a plate there, so I won't leave crumbs.
