Belgian jokes are so bland. Simple crap to make fun of other people like there are only dumb figures walking around in that country, so cheap. at the expense of others.
Jokes about dumb blondes are so bland. Simple heroes to drill into the ground because they have blonde genes in them for once. so cheap. humor at the expense of the lesser. etc
Bad jokes are so much fun now and again. Uncomplicated family that doesn't destroy others. Just don't think too much. Just relax and laugh at crazy crap. Nice, right!?!
My daughter was born in Belgium, she comes from two Dutch parents, so she's not Belgian. Not even on paper, not even a little bit. Nationality: Dutch, born in Geel, is registered at the registry office. She has plenty of weird, weird, unusual things that can be considered stupid remarks and/or behaviors.
We then jokingly say: “Surely you can see that she was born in Belgium” Say often, not to her, but to each other, after such behavior hahaha, there's that Belgian again.
However, it is becoming less and less common that we include her country of birth in such an anti-respectable way, especially now that it is becoming increasingly clear that she is just a special child. A very sweet girl with an autistic disorder. We are getting more and more insight into and understanding this, and also appreciating how she deals with it. She is now even learning to be somewhat self-deprecating for beginners. The most important humor there is. you can therefore protect yourself against a lot of mocking comments from outside. A Belgian can often tell the best Belgian jokes himself (provided he has enough self-deprecation) A dumb blonde joke told by someone who says he is naturally blonde is much more fun to hear (provided it is also said in the naturally stupid way).
Every joke about a different way of life, different people, different gender, different faith has added value when it is presented in such a way that it does not destroy others or break the ground amicably. Burning down, cracking down, demolishing and drilling into the ground should be done in respectable ways. Then it's fun. Only then should it be called humor.
Let's just keep laughing where possible.
