Proteins—like beans, meat, seafood, eggs and soya products to help your body recover after childbirth.
Iron---food like green vegetables, spinach, whole grain, wheat, brown rice, cereals will help your body to make new blood cells, which are important for you because you lost a lot of blood during delivery.
Calcium---like milk, yogurt, almonds, flour, cornmeal will provide your body enough calcium to strengthen your bones and muscle function.
Vitamins---if you are feeding your baby, then vitamins like B and C will increase breastmilk level. Vitamin B12 is an essential vitamin, and found in cheese, poultry, egg, milk and yogurt.
Avoid junk food:-
You should avoid fast foods like pizza and burgers because it contains lots of fats. You should also avoid cookies, cakes because these are having excess sugar and it may harm you and your baby in case of breastfeeding and also cause obesity.
Prepare mini healthy meal:-
“To keep yourself healthy as a mom” for whole day is not as easy because you need to take care of your child and home as well. So it will be good for you to prepare healthy mini meals like salads. Take these mini meals time to time during the whole day. Prepare these meals at morning and keep it in refrigerator. Do include healthy salad including cucumber, fruits and beans.
Daily Exercise:-
You should go for exercise early morning to keep yourself fresh. You can do exercise at home like squats and push ups to keep yourself physically fit.
Proper Sleep:-
If you want to be active to take care your child for a whole day, then you need proper time for sleep. It's usually recommended 8 hours sleep for a person, but doing motherly job, it's sometimes impossible to sleep for long hours. So you just try your best to give rest to your body as you could. It will keep you fresh next morning.
Reserve some time for yourself:-
You should reserve some time for yourself weekly to relax your mind and do some shopping. Enjoy get together with your friends will help you to think positively release stress. Sometimes, you can just go to the beauty parlor to get facial to look beautiful.
