A delicious #hodoniem belongs to it. Beach road as one of the unfortunately too often made jokes, to the function of this connection. I can't believe how many church streets and squares with sacred houses there are. Easier are signs with 'you are here' references such as Achter de Plein. Sounding names in new districts often miss a suffix as -lane, -girth or -yard and so it may happen that you look out on Maple 18 or Roer 29 when crossing.

A lot of names have a dash for me. I am proud to walk through the Mayor Jonkheer Hesselt van Dinterstraat or along the Erasmusweg. With or without a job title, alive or dead, it makes it a lot more personal. Romantaseren (inventing something rosy) is always possible; Amalia has apparently never lived in the street named after her, but what about Homerus, Anton Geesink and Trientje Timmer? Pull the registers open!

In my hometown of Rotterdam there is a Heer Danielstraat, but without dots and connections, the fun was done around the thirteenth. In Landgraaf people live on the Daniëlsstraat, where Nijmegen has a road variant. Tasty important, but still.

Yesterday went hiking again from misery. This time Zuiderpark. I had noticed the sign before and decided to stand for a moment. According to the regulations, this will only become official after my death, so for now this will remain between us!
