Bird on nose deer

The drawing is from The Savannah by Millie Marotta. I was just dubbing with colors, didn't know it and asked my husband for tips. That came up with the idea that I would do the bird in shades of green and the deer in red/orange-brown tones. I thought that was a very good idea, because I have enough shades of every color, not a hundred shades per color, not even gray;), although some colors won't matter much if I add all brands of colored pencils together. So that's also the fun thing about coloring, there is no right and wrong, you can use your own imagination. You can color as naturally as possible, but you can also use colors that do not occur in any animal or plant in nature at all. In that regard, you can go in any direction with colors. For that reason alone, coloring is fun. I coloured the drawing with Kalour colouring pencils.
