Birds don't belong in cages
Birds, with their colorful feathers and melodious singing, are one of nature's most beautiful creatures. They symbolize freedom and joy, fluttering through the air with a grace that often makes us humans long for the same freedom. But unfortunately, many birds are kept in captivity, locked in cages that rob them of their natural life. In this blog, I want to delve deeper into why birds don't belong in cages and why it's important to give these beautiful animals their freedom.

The natural way of life of birds
Birds are naturally free and active. In the wild, they fly long distances, search for food, build nests and mate with peers. These activities are essential to their physical and mental well-being. When birds are kept in cages, their natural behavior is drastically restricted. They can't fly, stretch their wings, or explore their surroundings. This often leads to boredom, stress and behavioral problems such as feather picking and aggression.
Health issues in captivity
Birds that live in cages are at higher risk of health problems. Due to the lack of exercise, they can become obese and suffer from various disorders, such as obesity and heart problems. In addition, the air quality inside a home is often worse than outside, which can lead to breathing problems. Birds are also susceptible to stress-related illnesses when kept in a confined and artificial environment.
