Sculpture Park The #Havixhorst
In the gardens of #havezate The Havixhorst, located in a leafy area between De Wijk and Meppel in Southwest Drenthe, has been on display since June 2000. Besides the permanent collection of sculptures by artists such as Pieter d'Hont, Eric Claus, Jan Bronner, Charlotte van Pallandt, Eddy Roos and Piet Esser, a close collaboration with Museum Beelden aan Zee offers a varied range of images that together give a beautiful overview of the development of the 20th century Dutch figurative sculpture. The sculpture park is free of charge and open daily from 10:00 to 17:00. The garden is open all year round and exudes a different atmosphere every season.
