This is the most important Bolivar square in the country. Located in the historic center of the Cathedral parish of the Libertador municipality, in the central block of the 25 with which Santiago de León de Caracas was created in 1567.
On November 7, 1874, the equestrian statue of the Liberator Simón Bolívar was inaugurated in the center of the square with the ringing of bells and 21 cannons.
It is a square that is surrounded by the historical places of the city and some of the most important in Venezuela.
If you are not from the city of Caracas and one day you are going for a walk don't forget to visit Plaza Bolivar like me. Enjoy the walk with many friends here I share photos of that day

And then I discover so much more that can be visited: Bolívar Square is surrounded by important buildings such as the Cathedral of Caracas, the Holy Museum, the Archbishop's Palace, the City Hall, the Chapel of Santa Rosa de Lima, the Yellow House, the Main Theatre and the Government Building of the Capital District. The Federal Legislative Palace is in the south-west.
