Bono's back. Inspired by the lockdown.
Bono is back
Bono the front man of U2 is back and I like it. In my youth I was really a U2 enthusiast but since the last concert I attended at U2 it was completely gone. Too big, too massive, and too politically correct. I really thought that boundaries were being crossed that were not correct. The misery of conveying another in a show is a no go for me though many people will have experienced it as a call for attention to the situation. But I think this could have been different. But now I came across this song from Bono and that is how I like him and U2 the most and wherever I think he/she fits best. Small, in the pub or smaller concert halls. Without all that fuss. It's not a great song, I have to be that honest but still... I hope he will go this way again. Just pure music again.
Bono was inspired by the Italians who sang together from their homes during the lockdown because of the coronavirus. That was impressive, of course. I've seen the movies, too, and that did something to me.
