Letters to the lost - brigid kemmerer

Book review

★★★★

Juliet Young has always written letters to her mother, a world traveling photojournalist. Even after her mother died, she leaves letters at her grave. It's the only way Juliet can hold on. Declan Murphy is not a guy you want to run into. In the midst of his community service imposed by the court at the local cemetery, he tries to escape the monsters of his past. When Declan reads a letter left at a grave, he can't resist writing back to it. Soon he opens up to a perfect stranger and their connection is immediate. But neither Declan nor Juliet know they're not really strangers. When school life disrupts their secret letter life, the sparks fly away as Juliet and Declan discover truths that might tear them apart.

Letters To The Lost is written by Brigid Kemmerer. The book has 388 pages and can be read in English, but also in Dutch.

I read the book quickly because I wanted to read it all the time. You want to know who she writes with and what they write to each other. The end was a pity, but at the same time I can move into the writer and would do so myself. The book is definitely worth reading, because I was able to move well in the main characters. I may not be in the same situation, but I can understand how they feel. I think it's very strong that you're so good at living with the book.
