Goodreads Synopsis:

Ever since she was child, Jem has kept a secret: Whenever she meets someone new, no matter who, as soon as she looks into their eyes, a number pops into her head. That number is a date: the date they will die. Burdened with such awful awareness, Jem avoids relationships. Until she meets Spider, another outsider, and takes a chance. The two plan a trip to the city. But while waiting to ride the Eye ferris wheel, Jem is terrified to see that all the other tourists in line flash the same number. Today’s number. Today’s date. Terrorists are going to attack London. Jem’s world is about to explode!

thoughts:

when I started to read this book I thought is was supposed to be one book but it turned out to be a serie. the idea made me read this book and it started off pretty boring after awhile it got more interesting but still it didn’t really got me in to it. even though it is well written but the characters don’t really speak to me. when I almost reached the end it got more exciting and you want the know how it end. the plottwist was to be expected ( mostly because I’ve read the ending before finishing the book) but if was quit amazing how she put this book together. I’m not sure if I will read the other two books because I didn’t like it to much
