#movies They'll call me old but it's a pride for me to highlight the national talent.
I'd like to tell you a little about the Venezuelan film Hermano, although it's a 2010 film, it's still in our hearts because it marks the harsh reality that is lived in Venezuela.
I could tell you about any famous Hollywood movie but I find it interesting to suggest this movie to those who haven't seen it.
Brother, is a Venezuelan film by Marcel Rasquin, which is situated in a context that is too violent but real, in the heart of the beautiful and destroyed Caracas, full of illusions and broken dreams, where two boys are raised as brothers and both have a passion for football with unparalleled talent, being one's dream to become professional and take your brother with you, as together on the pitch are unstoppable.
Violence in Venezuela puts these children's dream at risk, taking one on the road of crime and the other fighting against the tide to get what they want.
Its protagonists Eliú Armas and Fernando Moreno give us their powerful performances and the story where they get involved.
Like most Venezuelan films, at the national level it was not given the recognition it deserved, but internationally this film managed to unanimously consecrate it with the Golden Saint George Award for Best Film, the most important prize at the Moscow Film Festival.
Although this film does not have a happy ending, as many of us would like, it simply has an ending like the one that happens every day in Venezuela.
