#venezuela Brushing (scraping, slush or snow ball) is a soft drink based on finely chopped ice to which syrup (soft syrup) of different fruits and flavors is added.

In Zulia Venezuela it is a very popular soft drink that is sold in traveling cars and there are even a number of shops specializing in brushing.

In Maracaibo, Zulia Venezuela the proper name is brushing or brushing, because the ice for its preparation is obtained by scraping or brushing a large block or bar of ice with a hollow metal instrument called a brush.

In our city street brushing vendors used to be abundant because in Maracaibo the average annual temperature is 30°C and it is a very refreshing drink. It is usually offered in a variety of flavors such as collita which is quite popular and mint, as well as those of fruits such as pineapple, parchita, tamarind, and lemon and condensed milk to taste.

Street vendors are currently only seen at entrances to schools, universities, stadiums and public events due to a shortage of circulating cash.
Brushing or brushing is a Venezuelan tradition.
