As a 12-year-old boy, I came to Terschelling for the first time.

I was totally upside down by the bunkers on the island.

Most bunkers were buried all under the sand,

and some were made accessible with holes.

Over the years, I've been back there a few times.

Ik ben als kind heel vaak op Terschelling geweest maar dit heb ik er nooit gezien, prachtig eiland trouwens

@gerrievandehoven De bunkers waren bijna helemaal verdwenen onder het zand.Deze staan bij het bos,als je west uitgaat aan het Tigerpad. vroeger was er meer bos om heen.

Jaren gelden in het kazemattenmuseum aan de Friese kant van de Afsluitdijk. Heel indrukwekkend!
