Burnt forest and Leemputten near the Staverden estate
Rare plant walk.
Another interesting Klup outing. This time we are going to take a special walk in the Leemputten and the Burnt Forest on the Staverden estate and the ranger is our guide. Because normally you are not allowed to come to these areas because of the vulnerable nature.
Beekbank dragonfly
While the whole story is being told about the Burnt Forest, I already see a little blue passing by. And in the distance is a dragonfly. Am I glad I have a new camera that allows me to zoom in. I am amazed how this photo succeeded of this rather rare brook dragonfly.
It's a good thing we're wearing good shoes,
we have to go through the mud to get further. And watch out where we put our feet, because there are two types of sundew growing here. And that's just starting to blossom. Unfortunately, I don't have a sharp picture of that. If you have to keep track of a group, you can't take that much time to get thin stems right on it.

But at least you can see in this photo that it is the long sundew with the flowers still in the bud.

Wonderful what's growing in the water. We also hear frogs, but unfortunately don't see them.

The yellow flower is from the swamp deer hay.
