Bye old tree
I wrote this poem six years ago when the tree behind our house was removed.
From the moment you were planted, you have given many people pleasure
It was a pleasure watching you
You brightened up the street
You just kept growing and growing
Infinitely far
In the dark, you liked to show your dark side
Every spring you showed off your new leaves
For years, you were a home for many bird nests
Many birds have learned to fly from you
Many a summer you were a sunscreen
Kids climbed into you
We built cabins with you
The ivy would also love to be with you
Sometimes the fire department had to come
Because a cat had climbed too high
The eyes!
Dogs were also allowed to lie to you
In autumn, you always dropped your leaves
Sometimes people picked them up to decorate an autumn wreath
Kids loved running through your mountain of leaves
Did they like to throw them all over them
Your leaves also protected the animals on the ground
So they don't freeze to death in the winter
In the winter, the snow made you fairytale
Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye now
You have a fatal disease
I want to thank you for the wonderful years
The years you flourished
You're not completely gone
Thanks to many birds, you leave behind many descendants
