Clay with self-hardening clay offers a lot of opportunities, because you do not need to fry it off. You can combine the clay with all kinds of materials that can't be put in the oven. A cactus like this is also very easy and quick! The clay does not even need to dry, before dyeing it.

Do you want to tinker a cactus? Ask De Craft Teacher Ede to come and do crafts, at your children's party, family party or just with a group of girlfriends. Or buy yourself Do & Dry clay , a mini flower pot (this is 5cm high), some acrylic paint (e.g. Creall Top deco acrylic paint ), cocktail sticks and a few mini-pompontjes. Making flowers from clay and painting can also be done!

Method:

  • Knead a “thick short knaksausage” of clay
  • Knead a thinner sausage and divide it (unevenly) by 2, that is, the side branches
  • Fasten the side branches to the large sausage, with clay tools wipe the seams so that the side twigs are tight
  • Puncture holes in the clay with a cocktail stick
  • Paint the cactus green or light green and allow to dry
  • Meanwhile, paint your flower pot, paint edge and bottom each a different color and let dry
  • Then paint details such as triangles, tassels and squares with the other colors
