Ingredients for Making a Milleleaf Cake
• 3 cups sifted flour without baking powder
• 250 grs of unsalted butter
• 3 fresh egg yolks
• ¾ cup milk
• 1 tablespoon of pisco or rum
• 1 pinch of salt
For filling
• 3 cups of custard
• 2 1/2 cup ground nuts
• ¼ cup glass sugar.
How to Make an Easy Cake
• Add flour, yolks, milk and liqueur in a bowl. Add also the butter well chilled. Use a trowel or fork to integrate all ingredients with butter. You can't use your hands. Wrap in plastic wrap until the next day.
• With a rolling pin, roll out the dough. Place it in a mold. Bake at 180°.
• Cut the dough. Place a layer of dough and custard. Add nuts. So on with each layer.
• On the last layer, sprinkle the glass sugar and you're done. You can enjoy a succulent Milhojas cake quickly and easily. #Milhojas
