Desde hace ya varios siglos se ha hecho referencia a las calabazas con Hallowen como una forma de demostrar el dulce oh Truco,Durante décadas, tallar una calabaza ha sido una de las principales tradiciones otoñales de Estados Unidos y se celebra con fiestas, festivales y competiciones televisivas.

La historia de estas calabazas de Halloween, o jack-o’-lanterns, su protagonismo como decoraciones de Halloween y el motivo por el que se tallan es un cuento interesante,Por el camino, rituales paganos, leyendas locas y fenómenos naturales se han entretejido para crear una historia fascinante que es parte realidad, parte ficción y aterradoramente entretenida.

Last year I made some of them. Was quite a lot of work. It didn't come of it this year, the pumpkin harvest was a lot less.
