That brown in the middle of the tree? This tree with such beautiful autumn colors, which looks slightly blurred by the early morning mist. What the sun tries to squeak through. The mist is still too strong to win it off the sun.
It's a great way to start your mind in the early morning and think of what's going on with that brown in the middle of the tree.
I saw and thought of this on Snoopy, my little dog, her birthday. Spontaneously started in my head this little story: Gnomes may have hidden a birthday cake in it for the squirrels who regularly play tapping, jumping back and forth.
