A cardiac surgeon says that most of the bread we eat every day is actually not that good for us.

In his new book, The Plant Paradox, cardiologist Steven Gundry advises to stay off lectines.
Although many people eat gluten-free for fear of inflammation, Gundry says gluten is just one variant of a lectin, a toxic, plant-based protein found in wheat and a lot of gluten-free products. 
According to Dr. Gundry causes the intake of lectins, which are also found in many fruits and vegetables, a chemical warfare on our body.

This can cause inflammatory reactions that lead to weight gain and other health problems.
