How Careprost Works
Bimatoprost, the active ingredient in Careprost, extends the growth phase (anagen phase) of the eyelash hair cycle. This results in longer, thicker, and darker eyelashes over time.
Application and Usage
Preparation: Ensure your face is clean and all makeup is removed. Contact lenses should also be removed.
Application: Using a sterile applicator, apply one drop of Careprost to the applicator brush. Draw a line along the base of the upper eyelashes (where the lashes meet the skin). It is not intended for use on the lower lashes.
Frequency: Typically, Careprost is applied once daily, preferably in the evening.
Results: Visible results usually appear within 8 weeks, with full results around 12 to 16 weeks. Continued use is necessary to maintain the effect.
Eye Irritation: Some users may experience itching, redness, or other irritation in the eyes.
Darkening of the Eyelid Skin: This side effect is reversible once the use of the product is discontinued.
Increased Brown Pigmentation of the Iris: This side effect can be permanent and occurs rarely.
Hair Growth: Unwanted hair growth can occur if the serum frequently comes in contact with skin areas.
