Cat behavior
A study on the behavior of cats
#animals Study of a cat's behavior is not easy. Like all living things, the cat has a complicated behavior that reveals itself at every stage of life. But in order to understand those behavioral patterns and assess their variety, one has to assume two important ideas.
- First idea: the primitive life form
-
Second idea: the behaviors.
The behavior of the cat in first idea
The first idea is less obvious, but it is indispensable. Cats and all other animals are not wild and we humans are not superior creatures. We all belong to the same evolution tribe that has evolved from a primitive life form into mammals over the millions of years.
At the beginning, we were all equal. And only because of a longer evolution, man became what he is today. If biological evolution continues (and there is no reason why it wouldn't) one day a superhuman will pop up who could also keep us all for wild animals. So all animals are the same.
That kinship thus determines a more or less similar physiology and behavior (of course this depends on the degree of kinship). To assess the behavior of the cat, it is useful to refer to the behaviors of other animals, either very distant relatives to understand the influence of a prolonged evolution, or very close relatives.
