Doodling with the Microsoft stylus pen

I recently bought the Microsoft stylus pen to use with my Surface Book and I've been wanting to try it out for a while. These are my first few attempts at using the pen for fast doodling directly on the screen, using Paint 3D, which comes in-built with Windows.

Here is a lazy cat napping on a blanket. Makes me want to curl up next to it and take a nap myself!

A doodle made using the pen, oil brush and spray paint tools.

This was actually the first doodle I made with the pen.

A dreamy, childlike landscape with dandelion seeds floating about as they are blown by the wind. The kind of scenario where you could imagine birds singing and maybe even fairies flying around.

I used the pen, paint bucket and spray can tools the most for this one.

A bunch of flowers. Some real, some not quite, but all of them reminding me of beautiful blooms I've been lucky enough to spot while out on walks or in someone's vase at home.

Sizes are not necessarily realistic, I just drew them as they came to me. That's how inspiration works sometimes.

For this one, I used a few different tools: pen, watercolour brush, spray paint, pencil and paint bucket.

Overall, I am pretty happy with my Stylus so far. I can't wait to get better at using it. It will take a bit of practice to get the hang of it, but it's already so much fun!
