CATNIP
Here at our home the cats regularly get dried catnip dried or in toys. The slob and the rubbish love it and really enjoy it. Now I have taken the step to grow it myself and as you can see in the photo it starts to work well. If you touch the leaves and the cat is nearby, the nose goes back and forth so that's gonna give you something when it's in the garden. hahaha
Catnip is family of mint (Nepeta). Ever since Roman times, people have been using it to cure all kinds of ailments. Recently, it is also popular as herbal teas for smooth digestion. And cats? They can't get enough
Well, I'm going to talk about the cats.. Catnip is often put in toys because this has an attraction in cats. They roll, outside, lick, curl with their toys. Your cat is going to enjoy the toys because they smell fine. Of course there are also cats that do not react to this and therefore catnip is often mixed with Valerian. A herb that other cats react to.
Cats who are anxious can be lured out of hiding by the use of catnip. It's called a relaxing effect.
If your cats are tired of their toys, you can take a bag or jar, put some catnip in it and put the toys in it so that later they will have that nice smell for your sweeties..
