#LISDODDE 🤓 The Cattade family is a family of monocotyledonous plants. This family is widely recognized by the systems of plant systematics.
It is a small family; it is usually believed to be of one sex.
From calm banks, these perennial marsh plants can penetrate into the water up to 1.5 meters depth. With their powerful rhizomes, they can form a dense riverside vegetation. The flowers are densely combined in cylindrical spikes, the upper spike with male and the lower with female flowers.
