Day No. 2 .
One way we make our parents feel love is by honoring them, within Judaism this is very important.
Considered to be one of the most difficult Mitzvot or commandments to perform properly, this Mitzvah or commandment to honor parents does not depend on what your parents did for you, or even if they were good parents. Rather, we respect parents, simply because they gave us the gift of life.
By honoring what brought us into existence, we learn to take nothing for granted and develop a true appreciation for the goodness of others.
As society progresses, there may be a tendency for children to feel “ahead” of their parents. Sure, today's kids are more tech-savvy, and they know the latest in music and fashion. But in the Jewish conscience, parents must be respected because they are the source of our tradition. In other words, not only did parents give us life in this world, but we are the inheritance.
Honor by visiting our parents, they need their children to honor the “bond of life” that exists between them and thus, honor God.
Exodus Shemot 20:12
“Honor (greatly) your father and mother, so that you can live long on Earth which Adonai has given you your Elohim.”
Here is a photo with my parents a beautiful memory from a few years ago. Photograph that I want to renew very soon. parents are very valuable we must take care of them and value them are a great treasure. I feel privileged to have had my father and mother together, always by our side and it is a joy that they are still together is wonderful. I'm happy to be who I am because of them. Because I had a father who never abandoned us like it has happened to many people, and for having a mom always worried about making us go on a good path and show us that she wanted the best for us and that they wanted us to be able to study and be what they couldn't.
