#whatisontvfortonight Forged in Fire is an American reality show that airs on History Channel and is produced by Outpost Entertainment, a Leftfield Entertainment company. In each episode, four blacksmiths compete in a contest which consists of three elimination phases in which they must forge weapons with blades. The winner of each episode wins $10,000 and the title of champion of the day. The series is hosted by Wil Willis, in the company of Judges J. Neilson (Jason Knight for some episodes of seasons 3 and 4), David Baker, and Doug Marcaida, experts in the history and use of weapons. History initially ordered eight episodes, the first of which premiered on June 22, 2015. The second season premiered on February 16, 2016. The third season premiered on August 23, 2016 with an episode in which all participants had been champions of previous episodes. The fourth season premiered on April 11, 2017 with an episode called “Judge's Pick” in which the four judges (Neilson, Knight, Baker, Marcaida) each selected a blacksmith from previous seasons to compete again.
