Food Photography Champignon
Besides cooking, I also like to be busy with food photos. This time it was the turn of a mushroom. I made a food picture of it before. You can find this here.
Then I took out the stalk of the mushroom and put it down and took a closeup picture of the bottom. As you can see, you see a structure of all fine lines. That inspired me to see what happens to photography when you cut all those lines into slices. I cut the mushroom into very thin slices and made a picture of it. With those pictures I also played a bit digitially. Below I show the original photo, a black and white photo and a negative photo. Cool to see, huh?! Which do you find the most beautiful? I think they can also pass as a triptych, so I also put all three side by side for the effect.
