Chia only small in size

Small in size, but large properties in this way is Chia.
For months it has become my favorite seed, and with so many benefits it can't be any other way.
These tiny seeds have so much potential that they are often ignored.
Chia is a hygroscopic seed that can absorb more than 10 times its weight when submerged in liquid.
When this happens, it develops a gel or mucilaginous layer that is very characteristic of it and that It is perfect to protect the membranes and mucous membranes of the stomach. Introducing Chia to the daily diet is of great benefit to our body since we are ingesting carbohydrates, fibers, unsaturated fatty acids, proteins, vitamins and minerals.
With it I can prepare juices, smoothies, yogurt, tortillas, I can add them to salads, topping mixes, also to wholemeal bread mixes, desserts as delicious as flan, chocolate meringues, in short, there are a variety of preparations, or simply a tablespoon of the seed in fresh water with a few drops of lemon, a tablespoon of honey, let it rest in the fridge for a few minutes and that's it, super refreshing and healthy.
