Los globos vuelan porque son más ligeros que el aire que los rodea. El aire caliente es más ligero que el aire frío, y si calentamos el aire dentro de un globo, este se elevará.
Algunos globos están llenos de gases como el helio, que son más ligeros que el aire.
Los globos de aire caliente contienen aire calentado por un quemador de gas. El globo flota arrastrado por las corrientes de viento. Para que el globo baje, el piloto apaga el quemador. El aire dentro del globo se enfría y se vuelve más pesado.
Es bastante interesante el como vuela un globo.
