God's heart of second chance

This week we focus on a well-known Psalm. This Psalm was written by King David after his adultery affair with Bathseba came to light. In this Psalm, David humbled himself before God. He also asks for a second chance, as it is often called today.

psalm51

Sin is missing God's purpose for your life. Every human being has to do with it. Unfortunately, you, too, can't escape that. But that doesn't mean that God writes you off. Far from that! No, He sees your heart and sees bright spots in it. According to the Bible, no man is without sin. But on the other hand, there is no human being without good sides.

The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not seized it. That is said of Jesus Christ, the Son of David. But thanks to His victory at Easter, that is probably true for us. From that moment on, it is really possible to get a pure heart; a heart of flesh instead of stone.

God gives man a second chance if he messes up. He creates a pure heart in you and that in itself is a very hopeful future. That makes us happy.

Are you gonna take that second chance in your heart?
