#CLEMATIS 😍 Clematis is a genus of predominantly lianas in the ranunculum family. Some species are perennial herbs.They occur in the temperate zones on both hemispheres, and in mountains in the tropics. The species from temperate regions are deciduous, but those from warmer regions are evergreen.
Most species are known in Dutch only as clematis. In the Benelux, the forest rank and Italian clematis are found, while in North America there are three species naturally.
The plants are characterized by four to eight sepals, the petals are missing. The moderately to highly growing climbing plants reach a height of two to six meters. However, some types of climbing do not
