In the early 70s there was the click-click craze. The snap clack balls made a snap snap sound when they bumped together. The two balls were made of hard plastic and were attached to a string with a tab attached. The tab held you between your thumb and index finger.

It was the art of getting the balls together not only under your hand, but also above them. You had to move your hand very fast and you heard; 'tikketikke tikketikke tikketikke tikketikketik. AU!''Cause at that moment you were suffering from the pain. The balls missed each other and hit your wrist with a huge blow. A lot of children were bruising on their wrists at the time. That was also the reason that the snap clack balls were withdrawn from the market. They were too dangerous and the risk of serious injury was too high.
