Cold Enamel - more ideas

If you're experimenting with Cold Enamel paint a little, all kinds of ideas and applications will pop up.. With the cold enamel paint you can give an object the look of real enamel. It shines enormously and frame on enamel, but it's so just paint! To be applied with a handy spout bottle, and 15 colors are available. Armed with a needle we went to try. You need that needle to make fun effects. Maybe you like to see what came into being with us?

We have already made the beer pads (coasters), in retro colors (see them HERE ) and that was super fun to do. That's why we wanted more! The wooden Easter pendants and wooden labels are also funny to do, and not so big. It's very nice to see what you can do with the cold enamel paint.

The colors are completely opaque, and you can mix them with a needle (if the paint is still wet). The color matches the color, and does not mix! Any bubbles can be pricked away with a sharp needle.

The wooden pendants have a cord with a wooden bead attached and are in a set of 3 and are HERE obtainable

Then just try to pimp the wooden labels. Can be used as a gift label, on a bottle or a nice jar of sweets for example. It looks a bit like small bread plates, we like them succeeded. The white one is our favorite!

We keep it small for a while, the matchboxes are now in turn. Remember, that the initial layer is not too thin. That's a try, because we also made one where it was too thick, and then it ran over the edge. But hey, that also gave a nice effect, so no man overboard (just a little paint:)

Tip: In the wet paint you can also put glitter stones. (With a Diamond Painting Tool that works perfectly)

Because the matchboxes were out, we tried to decorate 2 glass jars with Cold Enamel paint. The lid is flat so that was easy. The paint is also not easy, so in the same 3 colors the lids are done first. In the middle of the wet paint again laid a (larger) rhinestone.

Then cover the glass jar with the first layer.. that wasn't really very simple. But if you hold the jar on the edge and do it a little fast, then it's best. If you wait too long, the paint will go down if you put the jar upright.

If you follow us? Because now there will be a wooden tray, ideal because the paint can not run off, and so you can not do the base layer too thick! For beginners, a wooden tray or tray like this is perfect to start with.

The plastic cap of the fruit water was also suddenly no longer safe.. and also got a makeover!

Okay, two more things then, a paper pastry plate and a popsicle stick. Just because it can be!
