¿Como funciona un podcasts?

¿Qué tienen entonces los podcasts para que la gente que los sigue sea tan fan de ellos? ¿Cuál es el secreto de este formato?

¿Y por qué, tanto en mi caso como en el de muchas otras personas, se dedican incluso más horas a los podcasts que al vídeo?

Las grandes ventajas que les diferencian frente a medios de difusión audio más tradicionales como, por ejemplo, la radio, son, sobre todo, tres:

La posibilidad de suscribirse con un lector de podcasts a un programa de podcast y recibir así actualizaciones automáticas vía RSS.

Al no ser una emisión en vivo, puedes escucharlos cuando quieras.

La posibilidad de poder descargarse los audios automáticamente, lo que permite escucharlos offline, una vez descargados
