Hi Phil, thanks for the tutorial. I have a DSLR camera with a AV digital out (with usb-cable) and HDMI output. The first one does not give very good quality, do you think it will be better with the HDMI output?

Some have then an extra menu option where you can choose for a clear HDMI-output-image. You could first try your camera out on a screen... btw: you can also use an hdmi adapter on an iphone or even stream the feed of your iphone directly into the streaming software...
