Ingredients
1 kilo spinach leaves
2 medium peeled onions diced
6 garlic cloves peeled and finely chopped into slices
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup olive oil.
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon cumin.
Preparation:
Wash spinach, drain well and cut into large pieces .
In a wide and low pot, heat over medium heat add olive oil, fry onions until white, add garlic, cumin, pepper, salt mix .
Add spinach and 1/2 cup water to the pot mix, cook over medium-low heat mixing for half an hour or until spinach is cooked. Then sprinkle with lemon juice and serve as a side dish hot or cold.
