#MAIS 🤓 Corn or corn is a grain from Central America and belongs to the graces.
Corn originates from Central America, where the crop was ennobled thousands of years ago by the original inhabitants into larger, more nutritious cobs. They always sought the best, tastiest and largest cobs to reproduce the corn. Probably once they started with the teosinte, a small grass plant. Columbus, who discovered America in 1492, brought the corn plant to Spain, where the crop immediately thrived well. For the colder climate, Europeans further ennobled the corn itself, after which the plant started to improve in colder regions.
