Worldwide Reporter has received experience stories from contributors about how they experience the corona measures. They are well aware that there are corona measures in supermarkets, but they both feel that retailers do not stick to the corona measures.

Submitter #1 — Submitted experience story about coronameasures at Aldi Megastore:
“Today I thought to go shopping at the Aldi, at the entrance you already have to grab a cart, not baskets. All the shopping carts were already issued, so I kept looking around me with a question mark. Took a long time, so I walked in. I doubted whether I was welcome without a shopping cart and decided to report this to the nearest employee. Meanwhile, an employee arrived with shopping carts and had put the shopping carts back in the right place. I asked the employee if they were cleaned, she said I should do it myself. No problem, I had already tried that, unfortunately without results. I told her that bottle of disinfectant gel is empty, she told me to pass it to the register. A bit difficult and also disturbing for the people who stand in line. I saw that the other employee placed a used cart of a customer in row of other shopping carts that he had previously placed there. I thought... 'All right, but take this and clean it. 'Meanwhile, I also thought of how the approach does not correspond to how the retailers themselves deal with the measures. I got a sore throat because of the idea that they say that a shopping cart is obligatory and in the meantime shove used shopping carts to you. Saying you have to clean your shopping cart yourself, but nothing else was found at that time but an empty bottle and paper, the sales employee who redirects to the cashier, the one and a half meter distance that you don't want to break, also don't want to leave the long queue extra long wait.

Submitter #2 — Submitted experience story about coronameasures at Albertheijn and Coffeeshop: “Since the beginning of October I have already caught more than 2 shopkeepers on something that goes horribly against the corona measures. Caught? Half of them looked like they were deliberately tickling their noses and grabbing some brat. At the Albert Heijn and the coffee shop. At the Albert Heijn, I got a painkiller, I got it, and I paid nicely. Then I saw the counter salesman take down his mask and itch his nose as if he had a cold. I tried to look conspicuous as possible with a responsive look of “Are you okay?” 'I had never tasted a space cake before and for fun I and a friend took a cookie at the coffee shop. After checkout, the seller bore his nose with bare hands, as if he had a cold.”

Submitter #3 — Submitted experience story about corona measures in a fries case:

“The salesman licked his bare finger to open a plastic bag, and then began to hold fries with his fingers, touch here and there.”
